Units from Station 50 and Cache County responded to a grass fire near Newton Reservoir.
The fire was near the shooting range and the caller indicated it was nearly extinguished.
Arriving units confirmed the fire was smoldering with no visible flames. Mop-up was completed soon thereafter and all units returned to quarters.
