EMS units were called to a boating accident on Newton Reservoir. A watercraft collision had injured 1 person.
Ambulance 160 (CCEMS), Squad 50 and Engine 50 (Newton), Engine 130 (Trenton) and Squad 70 (Logan) were paged to this medical assist.
The patient had been transported to the boat ramp area before units arrived. That patient was treated and transported to a local hospital.

Dispatch received a report of a backhoe on fire possibly endangering a haystack.
Dispatch had a general location of MP 14 on State Road 23 and dispatched units from Station 110 (Mendon).
Law enforcement officers arrived in the area and an updated address of 4600 North SR 23 was transmitted. The fire was east of that location towards agricultural property.
With the updated address available dispatch paged Station 50 (Newton) to this incident, that address is in Newton’s first-due response area.
Engine 110 arrived at the updated coordinates and continued along the farm road to attack the fire. Engine 50, Brush 51, Tender 50 and Brush 110 staged just off SR 23 at 4600 North to be near the scene in case additional water was needed for suppression or possible extension to the haystack that was reported to be endangered.
No additional water was needed, all units cleared after Engine 110 had controlled and overhauled the vehicle fire.

Ambulance 160 (CCEMS), Squad 10 (Clarkston), Squad 50 (Newton) and Squad 70 (Logan) have been dispatched to an address in Clarkston for a medical assist.
Medical units are responding to the scene at this time.

Medical units were dispatched to a possible collar bone fracture suffered by a rider in today’s Little Red Riding Hood bike tour which passed through several of Cache Valley’s communities.
Ambulance 160 (CCEMS) and Squad 50 (Newton) responded.
The patient was transported to Logan Regional Hospital.
