Engine 50 joined several other north end companies as part of a multi-agency
response to a working structure fire in Smithfield.
Arriving units found a well involved structure with fire through the roof. The first due companies made a quick knockdown and the mutual aid companies assisted with overhaul of the structure.

Station 50 responded to a reported vehicle fire. While enroute dispatch received a call from a person on scene stating the fire was a burn permit in a field but no vehicles were involved, fire department assistance was not needed. All units returned to quarters.
