Grass Fire

Units from Newton Fire and the Cache County Fire District were paged to a grass fire at an address in Newton. The person reporting the fire believed the fire was out, but wanted the area checked by fire department personnel.

Brush 50 arrived and confirmed the small spot of fire had been extinguished with a garden hose. Finding no hotspots that required mop up, Brush 50 cancelled all responding units not on scene and returned to quarters.

Fire and EMS units from Newton joined with several other northern Cache County fire departments for a fire and medical response in Clarkston.

Squad 50 and Ambulance 160 responded to a medical assist at an address in Newton. The patient was transported to the hospital.

Squad 50, Ambulance 160 and squad 71 responded to a medical assist at an address in Newton. The patient was transported to the hospital.

Tender Task Force

Tender 50 responded with other CCFD units to a request for water supply support at a structure fire in Franklin County, Idaho.

Tender 50 arrived and joined the other water tenders in the staging area. As needed units were moved to the scene to deliver water or provide other assistance. When the overhaul process was nearing completion the bulk of the task force was released and Tender 50 was among the first CCFD units to return.
