Brush 50, Brush 51, Tender 50 and Battalion 3A responded to a fire in a combine in a field south of Cache Junction.
Arriving units found a smoldering fire in a combine with the farmer working to clear the burning material. Brush 50 and Brush 51 personnel deployed hoselines to help cool the equipment during overhaul.
The quick action of the farmer, aided by fire crews, prevented damage to the combine. The cause of the fire appears to be mechanical.
All units cleared when overhaul was complete.
